About Us
The 2011-12 school year marks the 6th year of
existence for the Rio Grande AMA. Based in Bob Evans Farms Hall, the group
is the premier business organization in the Emerson E. Evans School of
Business. Membership is open to students of all majors. Each year, the
chapter hosts several events on the Rio campus and attends the International
Collegiate Conference in New Orleans. Meetings are held every Tuesday at 5
P.M. in BEF 201.

What is the AMA?
The American Marketing Association (AMA) is
the largest organization of professional marketers in the country. Through
its collegiate and professional chapters, the AMA provides its members with
professional development opportunities through its organizational
activities, conferences, workshops, and speakers.

Mission Statement
To provide members with a fun
yet professional environment where they can hone their marketing skills and
pursue networking opportunities. The group will seek to promote the field of
marketing, the Evans School of Business, and the University of Rio Grande to
fellow students and members of the surrounding communities. |
